The central emerald cut diamond of approximately 0.70 carats sits within an octagonal milgrain halo — the chamfered corners of the halo softening what might otherwise be a severe rectangular outline into something altogether more elegant. The halo itself is pavé-set with small brilliant cut diamonds, bordered on both inner and outer edges by a continuous milgrain bead detail that is the hallmark of the finest vintage-inspired jewellery work. The effect is a centre stone that appears larger than its carat weight.
The shoulders extend the design further still.
