Can antique engagement rings be resized?

Most antique rings can be resized, though some intricate designs require more care. We offer a professional ring resizing service taking 7-10 days. Resizing is complimentary on rings purchased over £1,000. For rings under £500, a resizing fee of £60 or more applies. We will always advise you of any challenges before any work is undertaken.

A platinum diamond halo ring set with a marquise-cut diamond at the centre, surrounded by a pavé-set halo of round brilliant-cut diamonds that follows the pointed oval outline of the stone, with further diamonds pavé-set along each shoulder of the band. The central marquise weighs 0.51ct, with the halo and shoulder stones bringing the total diamond weight to 0.77ct, stamped on the ring.

The marquise is a cut with a long history with its elongated pointed shape which maximises the appearance of size for a given carat weight. The pavé halo traces the shape of the stone precisely, the pointed tips of the halo echoing the tips of the marquise and giving the overall outline a clean and elegant finish. The shoulder diamonds continue the sparkle along the band on each side.
